This villa is situated on a small elevation, on the edge of the village. It is a very quiet place, surrounded by trees and flowers (1000 sqm plot of land).

There is a newly built private swimming-pool, a pavilion with suitable furniture is situated near the swimming-pool and a small play area for children. There are also, three large, comfortable, verandas with wonderful views over the village and out across the sea, as far as the island Dia and the mountains, from the Psiloriti and Lasithiotika, where you can enjoy the east and the sunset.

There is a main entrance that leads to the dining area and continues on to the open plan kitchen and living room, which is tastefully furnished and has an open fireplace, SAT/TV,dvd and stereo with CD/cassette deck.

Above the living room is a gallery style spare room, which can be reached by an open wooden staircase from the kitchen. In this room there is an office, a library and a single bed.

The kitchen has all the suitable household appliances such as freezer, refrigerator, oven, coffee machine and all the necessary equipment.

There are three bedrooms.The house is well insulated with double glazing and the windows are fitted with mosquito nets while central heating makes the house suitable for winter use.

The villa is situated in the small village Episkopi! The village has a mini-market, butchers, green grocers, bakeries, petrol station, pharmacy, first aid centre, a bank, two tavernas and a lot of traditional cafes.



The famous Minoan Palace of Knossos is located about 5-6 km south of the city of Iraklion. Knossos was the most impressive and luxurious building that someone could see all over Europe during Bronze Age (2800-1100 BC).The excavations were conducted at first by Minos Kalokairinos and then by the Englishman Sir Arthur Evans.

Matala is a small village with many tourist facilities about 70 km south of Heraklion. The Minoan Palace of Festos is 7 km east of Matala and the harbour of Festos used to be at the nearby Komos in the Minoan period. There is a nice sandy beach in Matala and it attracts a lot of visitors in the summer months.
